Iranian animation ‘The Servant’ is to be screened at two American film festivals.

Directed by Farnoush Abedi, ‘The Servant’ is scheduled to be screened at Silver Scream Film and Comic Festival and Seattle International Film Festival in the US.

The animation tells the tale of a giant cockroach who gets tired of his servitude to man; a game started with no rules.

‘The Servant’ previously won the Best Animation award at the 33rd Tehran International Short Film Festival held on 8-14 November 2016 in Tehran.

Launched in 2016, Silver Scream Film celebrated the best of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy storytelling, whether it is film, graphic novel, or an immersive VR experience.

The Seattle International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the United States, with more than 155,000 people attending each year.

The event believes in film's unique power to share original stories, diverse perspectives, and rich emotional journeys.
